The commander-in-chief of the Iranian army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, said that Tehran is ready to respond without hesitation to any act of aggression against the country.

As the Iranian press reports, in a message dedicated to National Army Day, Mousavi emphasized that as a result of large-scale measures aimed at strengthening Iran's military potential, his army has turned into a powerful deterrent force.

Mousavi added that Iran is conveying its message to the world, aimed at making all potential opponents of Tehran realize that the Iranian armed forces are able to give a powerful response to any aggression against the national interests, borders and security of the country.

The commander-in-chief of the Iranian army also noted that the retaliatory strikes against Israel, called “Operation True Promise” and carried out in close cooperation between the aerospace forces of the IRGC, the army and the country’s air force, demonstrated only a small part of Tehran’s military potential.

According to him, Iran has strategic bases drones and underground tactical bases, in addition, Tehran has implemented hundreds of large-scale projects in the defense, air, sea and space sectors, as well as in other branches of science and technology.

Mousavi also expressed confidence that Iran's opponents, realizing the inevitability of a tough response, will not dare to commit new acts of aggression against Tehran, such as the Israeli strike on the embassy in Damascus.
