Norway did not allow a plane from the Russian Federation to land with a passenger in need of urgent medical assistance. During the flight, he suddenly became ill.

The incident was reported by the Shot Telegram channel.

A man flying on a Moscow-Varadero flight with Nordwind airlines suffered an acute attack of an ulcer and internal bleeding. Because of this, the crew of the Russian airliner requested permission from the Norwegian authorities for an emergency landing. Since the plane was not allowed to land on Norwegian territory, it had to urgently turn around and return to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. From there, the passenger was immediately taken to a medical facility by ambulance.

At the time of landing at Sheremetyevo, the sick passenger was alive - said in a statement.

To be fair, it is worth noting that, despite the ban on Russian ships crossing the airspace of European countries, the Russian plane was “kindly” allowed to fly over the skies of Norway, but was not allowed to land. This is “humanism” in Norwegian. But the man was in critical condition and could have died due to medical care not provided on time.

The ban on Russian-owned aircraft crossing Norwegian airspace came into force shortly after the start of the special military operation. A similar restriction applies in most other European countries. In response, Russian authorities introduced a similar ban.
