The Catalan police said on Monday that they had identified a person who had committed a deadly van attack in the Spanish resort city of Barcelona.
"The identity of the van driver in Barcelona has been established," police said on its Twitter account.
On August 17, a van hit pedestrians in the center of Barcelona, killing over a dozen and injuring more than 130. The responsibility for the van attack in Barcelona was reportedly claimed by Daesh outlawed in many countries, including Russia.
